ll I’ve been wanting for the last 8 yrs is a consistent point guard. Since ’01 I’ve seen Jeff McInnis, Keyon Dooling, a young Earl Boykins, Doug Overton, an uninspired Andre Miller, Marko Jaric, Randy Livingston, Daniel Ewing (who cost us a Western Finals berth), Dan Dickau, Brevin Knight, and an aged Sam Cassell (who jumped ship right in time...damn traitor). Now we are dependent on the fragile knees of Shaun Livingston, who I think can and will be great. I’m just afraid because he was injured on a routine fast break layup.

I’m not saying that Eric Gordon doesn’t have potential, and Lord knows we need shooters, but I really don’t believe he’s the man. Right now, the Los Angeles Clippers are Vitamin C deficient…all we need is a little OJ. I know that it’s pretty much impossible at this point (no pun intended) but anything is possible. I would even be happy with Mr. Bayless, since I’m partial to Arizona point guards.

But if the Clippers do draft Eric Gordon, I’d like to see a push for a GREAT POINT GUARD. Baron Davis is out there, and I would love to see Agent Zero (go Zona!) in a uniform. So Gilbert if your reading, from blogger to blogger, consider sunny California.
