The Dallas Cowboys have reworked Pacman Jones's contract this morning after reports were released that Pacman got into an altercation with his own security guard.  The main change in the contract is the removal of the conduct clause

" We determined that Pacman's action early this morning were not in violation of his contract after it was rewritten," says Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones.  " The Dallas Cowboys were in danger of having to suspend Pacman for his actions.  With both the Giants and the Redskins ahead of us in the standings right now, we just can't afford to lose our starting corner for a game or two because of a clause in his contract."

Jerry Jones is denying the rumors that Pacman's security detail has been fired.  " Disciplinary actions are being considered against Pacman's security detail, but they have not been fired, " says Jones. " But, seriously, nobody would go into the woods and poke a bear. Why would you anger Pacman? That man is crazy."

The real beneficiaries of this move by the Cowboys may be the Redskins, Eagles, and Giants.  The Cowboys defense is ranked 13th, down from 3rd last year.  Pacman has actually had a negative effect on the Dallas defense.  Additionally, witnesses to the fight say that it was the best hit Pacman has gotten on anyone all year.
