Where I'm I'm from we always knew that CUBS stood for completely useless by September.  Now I know that the CUBS should be called the CUPs: Completely Useless Period, and I like it.

As a Cards fan, i despise the Cubs.  They are despicable.  I like this outcome.  My team did not make the playoffs, but I'm ok with that.  At this point, I'm only disappointed that the Cubs did not make it further so that their fans could have their hope built up a little more before they collapsed.  But ultimately I am happy they failed. 

For all of St. Louis all I can say is Fuck the Cubbies.  No title for them, and all is right in the world.
