Re: Foot pain whilst running what should I do?

If your getting foot pain whilst running it could be caused by a number of things like poor running technique or just simply wearing shoes that dont fit and insoles that dont support (or insoles that dont provide the right support for your foot and thus doing damage). The best advise I can give you without knowing more is for you to check to see if your running technique is up to scratch, make sure that your shoes fit and aren't to loose or to tight.... either go see a foot specialist to find out whether you need special custom made insoles. Keep in mind though that this may cost a bit and if you find out that you have no abnormalities like under pronation or over pronation in the arch of your foot then you may just need some regular fits all afford-ably priced insoles without the added expense of custom made insoles.
Lack of arch support if the pain is located at the arch is one of the main causes of discomfort for runners and usually us runners will buy arch support insoles to combat all of this. I hope this helps you out chriss, good luck!
