Topic: How important is rest for weight trainning?
Hi i was reading the other day about resting and recovering after intense weight training because when you do weight training the whole aim of the game is to break your muscles so then they can recover and grow bigger. So i guess recovery is needed to help your muscles grow other wise they will never have a chance to and muscles will never get bigger? Is this true? How long do you have rest for? or have i got the wrong end of the stick? Thanks
